GANSITO: LIL’ G - Get your eat on

Gansito, an iconic staple in Mexican pop culture, is ready to be discovered by a new generation of multicultural snackers. Hip-hop is Gen Z’s most-listened-to genre, so we’re meeting them with music. Gen Z craves experiences built around simple pleasures like music and food.

We’ll introduce an up-and-coming artist to drop a new beat alongside this classic snack, because just like music, the joy of eating transcends language. We’re giving the Gansito goose a musically talented counterpart in R&B, blending cultures, sounds, and flavors into one shared experience.

Meet Lil G.

INTRO TO POP CULTURE

Lil G will make her first appearance on Soundcloud with the catchy new single, “Get Your Eat On.”

To introduce Lil G, Marinela will roll out fresh packaging and merch, spotlighting its newest star.

REVAMPED PACKAGING

The limited edition Gansito pack and collaborations will be featured on Marinela’s website, along with tour merch to help you feel closer to Lil G. We’ll even sell fake bills, because Geese need their bills.

Merch

the tour

What's a singer without a tour? During National Snack Food Month, Lil G will be making her rounds to different bodegas nationwide.

Introducing: The Snack Aisle Tour, encouraging you to get your eat on.

Lil G will be waiting happily outside for you, and if you press the “Gansito” button, she will sing her jingle.

When you enter the bodega, there will be footprints to lead you to her limited edition Gansito pack.

SOCIAL

Her performance will be posted on YouTube, similar to NPR’s “Tiny Desk,” but of course, in a bodega surrounded by her favorite snack cakes.

Collaborations

Partnering with Rap Snacks, a brand that bridges hip-hop culture and snacks, we will launch Gansito-inspired Strawberry Chocolate dessert chips.

Lil G will also create chocolate colored headphones with Beats by Dre, giving you one more reason to jam out and elevate your snacking experience.

PRESS

Snacking never sounded so good, right?
